When it comes to Paloma Picasso; she is one of the most well-known jewelry designers and icons in the fashion industry. From the time she was a little girl; she was surrounded by art.
In 1949, she was born and raised in the South of France. Moreover, much of her childhood was spent exploring the arts. Her parents, Pablo and Francoise Picasso encouraged her to create and express herself. And, of course, she did this with great enthusiasm.
After her dad passed away in 1973; she took a brief hiatus from designing jewelry. In addition, she spent that time cataloging her family’s estate and establishing the Musee Picasso in Paris.
In 1978, former design director, John Loring of Tiffany & Co., invited Paloma to present a table setting for one of their exhibits. Fast forward – a year later and Paloma introduced her first exclusive collection of jewelry for Tiffany & Co.,
